The Sail Loft – Spinnaker is a converted dockside building with the character of its industrial past. It spreads across three floors with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, sleeping eight. Two bedrooms have double beds, two have pairs of singles; all four have en-suite facilities. The living room and kitchen occupy the first floor, opening onto a decked balcony that overlooks the water. This is the kind of place where you can watch the river life while you eat breakfast.

The apartment comes with heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included, plus wifi throughout. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals rather than holiday shortcuts. Parking for two cars is available on site. One dog is welcome. The pub is within walking distance, and the whole of Wroxham – the hub of the Norfolk Broads – sits around you: boat hire, fishing (with a licence), cafes and shops are all close by. The property has its own mooring, and the owner provides free use of a motor launch most of the year, except during Whitsun and summer school holidays, when day boats can be hired at reduced rates. There is unfenced water four feet from the back of the property, which matters if you have young children or need to know about it.
