Oswaldkirk is a quiet village on the edge of the North York Moors, close enough to Helmsley for market-day visits and positioned well for exploring the wider landscape beyond. Angel Cottage sits here as a detached stone property, built two centuries ago but renovated to suit modern needs. Everything is on the ground floor: two bedrooms, a wet room with a walk-in shower and grab rail, and the main living spaces.
The kitchen has a breakfast area, gas cooking, a dishwasher and a washer dryer. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; logs for the wood burner are provided too. The living and dining room runs the length of the cottage with picture windows, exposed beams and a wood-burning stove. One bedroom has a double bed and an adjustable electric single; the other has two singles. The property sleeps up to five guests, with a travel cot and highchair available on request. There's a lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and a barbecue, plus parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point.
No smoking is permitted. This setup suits families or groups wanting accessible holiday accommodation, whether as a base for Moors walks or as somewhere quieter to settle in for a week.
