Bella Vista is a second-floor apartment in Whitby, steps from independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Everything you need for cooking is here: electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a pantry for storing supplies on longer stays. The open-plan living space has a dining table positioned by large sash windows overlooking the street and a glimpse of sea; two leather sofas sit by the fireplace. The double bedroom includes built-in wardrobes, drawers and a TV. There's a shower cubicle in the bathroom. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with a parking permit for one car. No smoking.

Three miles of sandy beach run along the town, with the Cleveland Way coastal walking route heading towards Staithes, Runswick Bay, Robin Hoods Bay and Sandsend. The town has a growing food scene spanning fine dining to award-winning fish and chips, traditional pubs with live music, and shops selling Whitby jet and other local crafts. The Spa Pavilion, hosting most music events, is a five-minute walk away.
