Captain’s Retreat

Filey's seafront is a short walk away, and Haven Primrose Valley Holiday Park puts you within reach of the beach and Sandy Toes arcade without leaving the holiday village itself. The park has its own leisure centre, tennis courts, archery range, and a choice of eating places—all shared facilities that take the pressure off entertaining a group.

Captain's Retreat is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house sleeping six, with the whole place to yourself. Downstairs is an open-plan living and kitchen area that opens onto a patio garden; upstairs there are three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, plus a family bathroom and an ensuite. The kitchen has a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, air fryer and wine cooler. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog stays free, and there's a welcome pack waiting for you both when you arrive.

The property works well for families with younger children—a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand. There's a children's play area in the park grounds, and a heated indoor pool open 8am to 6pm. Note that the garden has a step, and there are unfenced lakes within the grounds. No smoking inside the house.
