The Bay - Sandy Bay Cottage

Everything you need is either in the cottage or moments away. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine—so you're not limited to heating things up. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Downstairs is open-plan living and dining, a separate toilet, and a utility room with washing machine. WiFi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. If you're travelling with a young child, a cot, highchair and stairgates are available on request. One dog stays free.

The cottage sits in a holiday village that has its own leisure centre with an indoor 25-metre pool, children's pool, steam room and sauna—all included with your stay. There's a pub and shop on site too. The beach is roughly three-quarters of a mile away, directly accessible on foot. Filey itself is close by, with Scarborough and Bridlington also within reach for a day out. On-site parking is available. The village has meadows and lakes to wander, and there's golf nearby if that interests you. No smoking inside the property.
