Cherry Cottage

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

You step into Cherry Cottage through its front door and find yourself in a combined living and dining space, warm from the woodburner and furnished with comfortable seating, a TV, and books and games for quieter evenings. The kitchen adjoins this room—a proper fitted space where you can cook from scratch, with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and washing machine all on hand. Everything you need to manage a stay without fuss is here, and wi-fi keeps you connected if required.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: a kingsize and a single, sharing a shower room on the first floor. The cottage sleeps three and the whole place is yours alone. A rear garden with shrubs and flowering perennials lies beyond the living space—there's seating for four, a small pond (with a resident frog), and space to walk out onto, though four steps lead down to it. One car parks at the front; there is further parking within walking distance in the village. Bicycles can be stored in an outbuilding. The building dates back nearly 200 years and stands in a conservation area within Skipton, close to Bower House Farm and a pub within a mile. No smoking throughout the property.
