Scarborough's Old Town sits between two sweeping bays, with the castle ruins visible from the clifftops and the promenade stretching for miles. Coastguard Cottage Paradise occupies a quiet corner here, originally part of the coastguard station and now restored as a family retreat. From the front, you look out over South Bay; from the back, across to Scarborough Castle. The town centre—restaurants, shops, the Stephen Joseph theatre—is a short walk away.
The cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms: three doubles and one twin on the first floor, plus a fourth double with its own ensuite on the second floor. Downstairs there's a living room with woodburner and TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a separate utility room. Two further toilets mean no queuing. Outside, a large enclosed garden has a summerhouse and decked seating area. Parking for two cars on site, with permits for two more on the road.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; a welcome pack arrives with you. The cottage is non-smoking. Whether you want a seaside stroll spotting seabirds and seals, or town-centre exploring, or simply space for a larger group, this gives you both the quiet base and easy reach to Scarborough's attractions.
