Tack Room Cottage is a one-bedroom conversion within a former stable block on the Dalesend estate near Bedale. The whole space unfolds as a single open-plan floor: living area with an L-shaped sofa and wood burner, dining section overlooking parkland, kitchen with electric cooking, bedroom with a kingsize bed and smart TV, and a bathroom with a bath, shower and heated towel rail. Everything you need for cooking is provided, along with wi-fi, bed linen and towels. The biomass heating keeps the cottage warm, with initial logs for the wood burner included.
The real draw is outside. A private hot tub sits within the woodland setting, accessed down a short drive. The 25-acre grounds contain a shared tennis court and a sitting area by the stream that runs through ancient parkland. Summer sunsets can be watched from the east-facing lawn. The cottage is set up for two people and sits on its own within the grounds; there is private parking for one car. The nearest landmark of note is Yogaspace Yorkshire. The Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach for walking and cycling. No smoking is permitted inside the property.

Fantastic long Easter weekend at Dalesend cottage. The tack room cottage and hot tub was absolutely perfect for myself and my partner. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing get away, the bed was so comfy and the surroundings were gorgeous. The hot tub overlooking the beautiful fields of Patrick Brompton Hall topped it off for us. It was so peaceful and quiet and felt like we were the only people for miles. Close by to lots of gorgeous walks and country pubs. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy this gorgeous estate some more.

Beautiful accommodation and very well appointed, but let down by some minor issues. Glassware. Wine glasses were mismatched and there was only one champagne flute. Dogs. Don't greet guests with your dogs. Not everyone likes dogs. Equally, it is your responsibility to manage your dogs, so less signage about dogs being loose! Minor, but this is a high end rental. Overall we had a fabulous stay and wound return.

Fantastic quality accommodation in fabulous surroundings and the hot tub is absolute serenity personified! A cut above normal self catering offerings, we stayed in the Hayloft and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Excellent welcome from owner Charles who was around for any queries we had too.

We stayed in Hayloft and it was just perfect - it really has the wow factor. Spacious, welcoming and totally extra special. We cooked a few times and the kitchen faculties were great - far better than usual holiday accommodation standard. Comfy bed, amazing bath and shower, and magical overall feel. Perfect for a romantic week away 💫
