Forest Lodge Farm – North Range is a detached former barn converted for holiday lets, part of a Grade II listed organic farm dating to the 1800s. You enter into a ground-floor living room with woodburner and Freesat, adjoining a kitchen-diner fitted with dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs are two further bedrooms. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: one with zip-and-link single beds, one with a kingsize, and one with a zip-and-link three-quarter double and single. Two bathrooms—one with a cubicle shower, one with a shower—serve the bedrooms. Oil underfloor heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included.

Three cars can park on site. The farm sits within 2–3 acres of lawned grounds, shared with other holiday lets, where you'll find garden furniture, a barbecue and children's play equipment; a shallow unfenced pond occupies the courtyard, so families with very young children should note this. A bike store is on hand for exploring the network of cycle tracks and bridle paths that cross the farm and lead into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Kirkby Moorside, Pickering and Helmsley lie inland; the coast—Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Sandsend—is within reach. Shops and a pub are roughly a mile away. Smoking is not permitted inside.
