We happened upon this lovely place completely by accident. The ladies inside were so friendly and the pie and fruit scones were delicious. An absolute hidden treasure. So glad the road we took ended there.

Really remote, back of beyond, down single track roads, but so worth it. Hospitality was 10/10, such a selection of tasty cakes all served with a sliced piece of strawberry and orange, really thoughtfully presented. The decor is beautiful, as is the attention to detail in the garden too. The views are to die for and this is the perfect stop on a walk round the valley or starting point, especially for visiting the nearby kilns and remains of the iron mines, which are also spectacular. This place is also dog friendly.

Fantastic place, beautiful garden with flowers and fantastic view, gorgeous homemade food. I had mackerel pate which had a lovely lemony taste, and the courting cake with fresh strawberries and homemade jam was delicious. An island of serenity.
