Ground floor takes you straight into a bedroom with a four-poster king bed, while a second bedroom with two singles and the bathroom are also on this level. Upstairs is open-plan living: a sitting area with TV, dining space and kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. There's a freezer and washing machine too, so you can manage a longer stay. An enclosed patio with garden furniture opens from the living space, and three cars can park on site.
Gallaber Cottage sits on a working farm where the borders of the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and Lancashire meet. The elevated position means far-reaching views across the fells towards Ingleborough, and clear days bring the Lake District hills into sight. Oil central heating and a solid build make it warm through winter. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. One well-behaved pet can stay. Ingleton village, roughly three miles away, has shops, pubs and restaurants; there are shops closer at about a mile. No smoking inside.
