A farm with seasonal caravan pitches, family and dog friendly - set in the Yorkshire Dales and right by the Lakes.

About Ireby Green Farm

Ireby Green Farm sprawls across peaceful farmland near Cowan Bridge, right on the cusp of the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. The on-site café has built a strong reputation for home-cooked breakfasts and proper coffee made with local produce, while a small farm trail keeps younger visitors entertained. Families and dogs are both welcome, with year-round pitches available for those who don't mind the lack of WiFi.

The setting is genuinely tranquil, with well-kept grounds that feel a world away from busier touring parks. It's excellent value for money, and the friendly owners strike the right balance between attentive service and leaving you to your own devices. A thoroughly solid base for exploring both national parks without the premium price tag of sites deeper into either.

What visitors say

A generic farm shop and cafe in a very pleasant setting. Didn’t visit the farm shop but the cafe has a basic menu but with a bizarre pricing structure: All day breakfast including coffee and toast £9. Small breakfast plus coffee £9. No toast. Weird - a bit of a scam against those with a smaller appetite, if you ask me. Plus whilst eating my very acceptable breakfast on the terrace I was quietly pestered by the farm dog for food from the table. All right as an en route stop off on the A65. Not worth a special visit.

Great stop off place on route to the lakes. We enjoyed two open top sandwiches and purchased some home made steak pies from the farm shop. Everything was fresh and tasted great.
