About Ireby Green Farm Caravan Site

Ireby Green Farm Caravan Site stands out for its working cafe, where breakfast and other meals are prepared with local ingredients and cooked to order. It's a rare setup: a caravan site where you don't need to leave the grounds for a proper meal, and the kitchen takes care to source regionally. The prices are reasonable, and the staff know what they are doing.

The site has showers for guests, and the grounds themselves are well kept. There is a small farm trail to explore on the property. The setting is peaceful, making it a low-key base for the area around Cowan Bridge in Lancashire, with the cafe doing much of the heavy lifting in terms of what makes a stay here different from a standard caravan park.

What visitors say

A generic farm shop and cafe in a very pleasant setting. Didn’t visit the farm shop but the cafe has a basic menu but with a bizarre pricing structure: All day breakfast including coffee and toast £9. Small breakfast plus coffee £9. No toast. Weird - a bit of a scam against those with a smaller appetite, if you ask me. Plus whilst eating my very acceptable breakfast on the terrace I was quietly pestered by the farm dog for food from the table. All right as an en route stop off on the A65. Not worth a special visit.

Great stop off place on route to the lakes. We enjoyed two open top sandwiches and purchased some home made steak pies from the farm shop. Everything was fresh and tasted great.
