Goldridge House
North Yorkshire
Photo: Google Maps
Whitby's beaches, restaurants and harbour are a short drive away, while the North York Moors National Park spreads across the horizon and invites exploration on foot or by bike. The Esk Valley itself—green, folded and quiet—is right here. Goldridge House sits as a base for making the most of either: somewhere to return to after a day out, or somewhere to stay put and wander locally.
The cottage has one bedroom and one bathroom, sleeping two. There's a terrace where you can sit with the views, a kitchen equipped for self-catering, and wi-fi if you need it. Bed linen, towels and electricity are covered. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The place is yours alone—no other guests sharing it. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
This suits couples or friends after a quiet base near the coast and moors, or anyone wanting to settle into a rural corner without fuss. The combination of manageable distance to Whitby's attractions and direct access to the National Park means you can shape the break however you want.
