Grange Farm Cottage

The North York Moors National Park offers walking territory that draws people back year after year. Grange Farm Cottage sits within this landscape, a 16th-century detached property on its own. Pickering and Helmsley are roughly 10 miles away; Whitby, with its beach and sailing, is a short drive further. Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are both accessible from here, and Kirkbymoorside—where there's an 18-hole golf course—lies 5 miles off.

Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (it has a Rayburn, along with fridge, microwave and washing machine), a dining area, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, one bedroom contains a kingsize bed, and a bathroom has a bath with shower over it. The cottage is yours entirely, and one pet stays free. There's an enclosed garden, parking on site, and wifi throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided; heating and electricity are included in the price. A pub and restaurant are three-quarters of a mile away. No smoking inside.
