Harriet’s Cottage

Muker is a quiet village in Wensleydale, and Harriet's Cottage sits on high ground here with countryside visible from every window. The cottage is traditional stone, recently updated with a new kitchen. You get the whole place to yourself: ground floor living room with open fire and television, kitchen-diner with electric cooker and microwave, upstairs double bedroom and twin bedroom, and a bathroom with bath and shower. A small external utility room (shared) has a freezer and tumble dryer. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; logs for the fire cost extra.

Outside there is parking for one car, a bike store, and a small sitting area with garden furniture where you can look out across the fells. The Farmers Arms pub is within walking distance and serves food and drink. No smoking in the cottage. Children and those with mobility needs should note the layout includes stairs and an upstairs bathroom.
