Hawthorn Hideaway is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment on the outskirts of Doncaster, designed as a complete getaway for four people. The property sits within easy reach of the coast and surrounding countryside, making it practical for those who want to explore North Yorkshire without staying in the town centre itself.
The apartment is laid out on the ground floor and comes with its own parking space at the rear, though the entrance is narrow and better suited to smaller vehicles. Inside, you'll find the essentials covered: bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included. The space is furnished throughout and has a private decking area. A ten-minute walk takes you into town if you need shops or restaurants, but the location itself is quieter and more set back from the bustle.

We had an amazing time on the boat and in the area. Only complaint was the shower was cold and one of the cleaners said on the last day that if we'd turned the engine on, we would have had hot water, which would have been nice to know before-hand (though it was so hot, it wasn't a massive issue anyway) and fly screens would have been nice, as there were a lot of bugs on them. Otherwise, the bed was comfy, bbq was great, cinema room was lovely and the location was beautiful, so peaceful. We would recommend it and would go again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying on Kingfisher. This is a truly delightful and secluded location that offers a wonderful escape, immersed in nature. The boat is located in its own private area. We received a lovely welcome pack with all the breakfast supplies we needed, along with bottled water and chocolates. Every detail had been meticulously thought out including shower gel, soap, washing up liquid. I honestly wish that we had booked for longer than our 2 nights. Ronnie and Josephine have created something really wonderful here. From the outdoor cinema, hot tub, sauna etc, it has everything to offer. I cannot recommend highly enough! The lodges looked beautiful too. We also had the fine dining package with Rose, served in the yurt. This was an incredible experience and I would recommend this if you want something truly special. Thank you so much for a memorable and happy stay.

We stayed a couple of nights last week in Swan Lodge. No special occasion just the need for some relaxation and time together. We both loved it so much. Swan Lodge was everything we'd hoped for. It looked fabulous when we walked in, it was clean and welcoming and the small details made it even better. The breakfast box was great, everything fresh and very tasty. We loved the hot tub and the dome. We walked along the canal path, stopping for a drink in the local pub. At Josephine's recommendation in the evening we sat and watched a beautiful sunset by the canal. It was great just to slow down and enjoy the simple things. The one thing I would do differently, is book for a little longer as we didn't have time to experience the other available facilities. I would also agree with Josephine you can never have enough pretty outdoor lights. We definitely want to come back and would recommend to others.

We had to leave a review. It was amazing experience. Me and my missus visited for a weekend and were positively surprised of the quality of service, attention to detail and overall location of the lodge. Owners of the property have poured their heart and soul into this business. First impressions were really exciting. Visually lodges are gorgeous, nice wooden interior, fully furnished and stacked up kitchen area with all appliances necessary, all pots and pans, cutlery, glasses caps, everything you need. welcome card with lovely words and a little tablet with our names outside of the lodge was perfect attention to detail and made as feel very special. prepared and warm hot tub was waiting for as and it was Godsend. covered with little gazebo for a rainy weather. Light strings across the property made place look magical and very romantic. Cosy projector area under the see through dome was another excellent area for us to chill and watch a movie. local wifi is strong and even get a phone services there too (EE) There is dozens of things I could mention and they are all positive. owners are very friendly and welcoming. will give you anything you require (thank you for the ice) 1000% recommend for a romantic getaway without kids and pets. perfect place. will come back again for sure.
