Couples and small families will find Holly Cottage fits well—two bedrooms sleep up to four, with a double and two singles, plus an enclosed garden for outdoor time. One dog is welcome. Set just off Bellerby village green, the cottage dates back as a converted cart store and keeps its character: flagstone floors, exposed stone and wooden beams run through the ground-floor living and dining space, where an inglenook fireplace anchors the room. The kitchen is compact but functional, with a dishwasher, cooker and microwave. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are modest—note the staircase has uneven, deep treads—and the shower room includes a step in and out of the cubicle. Outside, a patio and lawn sit behind a picket fence, complete with garden furniture and a barbecue; there's also a front bench for quieter moments. An external utility room houses a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. No smoking, please. Leyburn is close by, and Middleham within easy reach.
