Home Farm Holiday Cottages - The Stables

The Stables sits in Slingsby, a small village at the edge of the Howardian Hills with a country pub, farm shop and children's play area all within reach. The cottage is part of Home Farm Holiday Cottages, converted from original farm buildings and retaining exposed beams and stone walls throughout. Everything is on the ground floor: a living room with wood burner, dining room, kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, and a conservatory. Three bedrooms sleep six—a double, a zip-and-link pair of single beds, and a single with a pull-out single—plus two bathrooms with bath and separate shower.

The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. Logs for the burner are provided. Outside, a lawned garden has seating and tables. There is parking for two cars on site, and a tumble dryer in a separate building. The pub is within a mile. From here, the North York Moors, the market towns of Malton and Helmsley, and York itself (16 miles away) are all reachable for day trips. No smoking inside the property.
