Inglenook Cottage is a 17th-century stone property in Skipton village, furnished throughout on the ground floor. The heart of the place is a vast inglenook with a working woodburner; exposed beams and original features run through the rooms. Three bedrooms accommodate up to seven people: one has a double and single bed, one a double, and one two singles. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower cubicle.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer, so cooking and laundry are straightforward. The living space has a 32-inch TV, DVD and CD player. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; initial logs for the woodburner are provided. A patio with garden furniture overlooks the property, and parking is available on road or at the village car park (permit for one car included).

The Blue Bell Inn is 60 yards away. Walks lead directly from the door into the Yorkshire Dales, with Skipton market town a short drive. The village has shops, restaurants and other pubs nearby. No smoking inside the cottage.

Great place to stay in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. 2 pubs on doorstep and one a short walk away. Quite cold for first day until heating had warmed through building. I presume it had been empty for a week or so before. Cozy once warmed. Nicely appointed kitchen. Quite grand downstairs accommodation...three bedrooms upstairs. Lovely place.

Wonderful cottage located in the centre of a Yorkshire dales village. Spacious and comfortable with everything you need for self catering break. Plenty to see and do in the area within walking, bus and car distances. Loved it.
