Jays View is a mid-terrace house spread over three floors in Whitby, sleeping six across three bedrooms. It stands within easy walking distance of the fishing town's harbour, streets and beach. The ground floor holds a living room with an electric woodburner and a kitchen-diner fitted for cooking and eating together. Upstairs, a king bedroom and a double bedroom share a bathroom with shower. The top floor has two singles and makes a separate retreat. Bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are all included; the kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine for longer stays.
Outside, an enclosed garden rises in tiers from a ground-level terrace with seating up to a bench on the upper level—useful for a drink after exploring the coast or wandering Whitby's cobbled alleyways. One car can park on site; further spaces are available on request. The property does not allow smoking. Note that the rear garden includes 15 steps between levels. This is a whole property to yourself, with check-in after 3pm and check-out by 10am.

What guests say
We had a wonderful time here. The property was clean and well-maintained. The best part was the location—tucked away enough to be quiet, but only a few minutes' walk from the main town center. Excellent communication with owner. Would definitely stay again!"

Brilliant location, clean, lovely owner and the comfiest beds ever! Spacious kitchen, lovely garden with a peaceful seating area at the top. 6 women ranging from ages 32 to 84. 10min steady walk to the centre of Whitby. Yes a bit of a hill leading up to the house, but my 84yr old grandma managed it and she isn’t the most mobile. Owner has thought of everything and was always on hand when I had a couple of queries. Welcome pack with goodies on arrival - nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
