We had 'Whitby room. It is spacious and very comfortable. The location of the B&B is a pleasant walk into town. It takes 5 minutes longer to walk back as it is uphill. We loved the breakfast choices and delivery to our room. I thoroughly recommend Laura and Greig as hosts and Hillcrest as a fabulous B&B.

We’ve just had a lovely three nights at the Hillcrest Hotel. We booked it because of the parking spaces for all guests but it was an all round great choice. The owners are great. They really can’t do enough for you. We loved the breakfast box in the room. Lovely choices both hot and cold which we ate at a small table in the window. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean and tidy. We were even given a choice of three rooms as we were the first to arrive. It’s on a hill, which was a perfectly walkable 10 minutes but beware if you struggle. Whitby is a hilly place so no avoiding it really unless you stay in the centre. I can thoroughly recommend The Hillcrest. We’d stay again definitely!

Great stay, walking distance from the centre of Whitby although a fairly steep hill walking back from town, so people who have difficulty walking may want to use the bus or taxis! The breakfast was great and arrived as requested right on time. The room was clean and beds were comfortable, no complaints and would recommend.

Rooms was a good size, very clean, and something you don't normally see was a loo brush 👍🏻, why there is never a loo brush I just don't know, breakfast you order by 8pm on the the day before, and there is plenty of it and delivered to your room on time and hot and fresh. Room is refreshed every day, laura and Greig are lovely same as the other members of staff we met. Would definitely stay again 5 🌟
