Lantern Cottage

Lantern Cottage comes fully equipped for a self-catering break: the kitchen has an electric range, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics you need to cook properly, while heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. There's a wood burner with initial fuel provided, and underfloor heating throughout. The essentials are covered, so you can arrive and settle straight in.

The cottage sits at the end of a country lane in Ravenscar, a small village perched on the Yorkshire coast between Scarborough and Whitby. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living area with a wood burner and smart TV, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and an ensuite featuring a spa bath with shower. The private garden has a hot tub for two, patio seating and parking for two cars. On clear days you can see across the coast from here.

This is a converted barn, so you get original beams, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone alongside the modern comforts. It's just the two of you in the whole property. Smoking is not permitted inside.
