Larpool Mews began life as a stable block attached to Larpool Hall, the Georgian mansion next door, and retains the character of that heritage. The sandstone building sits on the edge of Whitby, within walking distance of the town centre, harbour and beaches. A cinder track nearby connects to coastal footpaths leading towards Robin Hood's Bay and Ravenscar. The property has steep spiral wooden stairs; access to the ground floor involves 2 steps.

Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with beamed ceilings and a wood burner, plus a kitchen-diner with gas and electric cooking, dishwasher and breakfast island. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite shower, a super kingsize with a single and a pull-out single, and a twin room. A family bathroom with bath and shower completes the layout. The property sleeps 8 and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. There is private parking for 3–4 cars on site. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
