Lock Heather Cottage
North Yorkshire
Lock Heather Cottage comes equipped for self-catering with a properly functioning kitchen—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer—so you can prepare what you want when you want. There's a wood burner for warmth on cooler evenings, a Smart TV if you need it, and a washing machine for longer stays. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included; initial fuel for the stove is provided too. The cottage sleeps two in a kingsize bed upstairs, with a bathroom that has a bath, shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining area gives enough space for two people without feeling cramped.
The cottage sits in Healaugh, a quiet village within a mile of Reeth, which has pubs, cafés and a weekly market on the green. From the front door, you step onto riverside paths and hill walks that characterise Swaledale. The garden includes furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Parking for one car is on site. The property is for non-smokers.
