The apartment sits a short walk from the seafront. Filey's beach stretches for five miles and welcomes dogs year-round at both ends (the middle section is dog-friendly outside summer months), making it straightforward for anyone with a pet to get out onto the sand. The walk down takes you past St Oswald's Church and through woodland. Once back in town, the high street has independent shops and cafés, and a dog-friendly pub with a beer garden sits just across the road. Dicky Bees Fish & Chips is within a mile if you want a casual meal.
