Magnolia Cottage

Magnolia Cottage is a single-storey property in Carlton Miniott, on the edge of Thirsk. Everything happens on one level: a living room with smart TV, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with a double), and a shower room. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washer-dryer, so you can prepare meals or do laundry without leaving the place. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; there is parking for two cars on site.

Thirsk itself is a market town with independent shops, cafés and pubs—there is one within a mile. The North York Moors lie to the east, the Yorkshire Dales to the west, and both offer serious walking country: moorland, dry stone walls, and named spots like Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Abbey within reach for day trips. The Hambleton Hills and Cleveland Way are also accessible. No smoking inside the cottage.
