Moby Dick Cottage

Moby Dick Cottage is a ground-floor property in Whitby, within easy reach of the marina, beaches and the town centre. The single bedroom has a double bed; there is a shower room and a combined living and kitchen space. Essentials including bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are provided, along with a welcome pack on arrival. The cottage is all yours—no shared spaces—and accepts one pet.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric cooker, microwave, air fryer and fridge-freezer. A smart TV and electric fire are in the living room. There are two small steps between the living room and the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Parking is available on the road or in the public car park nearby (charged separately). A bike store is on site, and there is an enclosed courtyard. No smoking inside.

Whitby is a working fishing town minutes from the cottage, with independent shops, galleries, museums, cafés and restaurants packed into the cobbled streets. A pub and restaurant are within 20 yards. The North York Moors, Heritage Coast and medieval York are all within reach for day trips. The Cleveland Way coastal path runs through the area, and boat trips leave from the harbour. The town hosts events year-round, including the Goth Weekender and film festivals.
