New Cottage

Whitby's clifftop abbey, harbour and beach are all within reach on foot or a short drive from New Cottage, a stone-built property tucked away from the main road in the heart of the village. The cottage suits couples or a small family of three, with two bedrooms—a double and a three-quarter bed—and a shower room across a layout that spans multiple levels, adding character and quirk to the space.

Downstairs, an open-plan living area combines sitting room with dining space, warmed by a woodburner (initial logs included). The kitchen sits on a raised level and has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, plus a breakfast bar for casual meals. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a Velux window. An enclosed front garden with patio and furniture provides outdoor space, and there is parking for two cars on the gravelled drive. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided.

The property is non-smoking. Families with young children will find a travel cot, highchair, stairgate and fireguard already in place.
