Normanby House

One dog stays completely free at Normanby House, making it genuinely convenient for anyone traveling with a pet to the Whitby area. The house itself is a four-bedroom property sleeping eight across three floors, with two bathrooms and all the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—already covered. Each bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that splits into singles on request, giving you flexibility for different group configurations.

The ground floor is open-plan, combining living, dining and kitchen in one space. You can cook properly here: there's an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the usual kit, plus a washing machine and tumble dryer if you need them. The first and second floors each have their own bathroom, which matters when you're a larger group. All four bedrooms have Smart TVs, and downstairs you'll find one too.

Whitby town centre is walkable from here. The Lansbury pub is within a mile. The harbour, seafood restaurants and coastal walks are on your doorstep, and Whitby Abbey sits on the cliffs above. Parking is available in the public car park a short distance away, charged daily. No smoking indoors.
