Moonshine Loft

Moonshine Loft sits on the third floor of a converted Victorian building in Whitby, with the town's shops, pubs and restaurants practically at street level. You walk into an open-plan space that combines living, dining and kitchen areas—there's a record player and Freeview TV for downtime, and the kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. The bedroom holds a zip-and-link kingsize bed (divisible into singles if required), and there's a shower room with a toilet and shower. Essentials like bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all provided.

Whitby's West Cliff location puts you within a few minutes of the harbour and the town's older streets, where Georgian buildings crowd together above fish and chip shops and independent businesses. Whitby Abbey sits on the headland overlooking everything, and the beach is a short walk away. Beyond the immediate town centre, you're positioned for exploring the Yorkshire coastline—the Cleveland Way runs through here for walkers and cyclists, and the North York Moors stretch inland with their own network of trails. The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway operates heritage services from the station, and York is an hour's drive south. No smoking is permitted in the property.
