North Bay Sands Apartment 3 occupies the first floor of a seafront building in Scarborough, metres from the beach and overlooking the bay. The apartment accommodates four guests across two bedrooms: one with a king bed and ensuite shower, the other with two singles. A second bathroom has a bath with shower and heated towel rail. The living area is open-plan, combining kitchen, dining and sitting space with a 42-inch TV, DVD and Blu-ray players, and access to a small Juliet balcony facing the water.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and central heating are included; a travel cot and highchair are available. Underground parking for one car is provided, along with access to an on-site gym. The building is non-smoking.

The flat expanse of Marine Drive stretches three miles along the coast, connecting North and South Bays and offering a straightforward walk past the clifftop castle. Peasholm Park lies directly across the road, with its gardens, lake and summer brass band performances. The open-air theatre is a five-minute walk away. Shops, cafés and restaurants cluster nearby, and Alpamare Waterpark is within reach for families.
