Peasholm is a ground-floor cottage within the grounds of Peasholm Park, Scarborough's landscaped attraction centred on a lake with Japanese statuary, pagodas and seasonal boat battle re-enactments. The property itself is modest: two bedrooms (one double, one with single beds), a bathroom with shower over the bath, and a combined kitchen and living space with Smart TV and DVD player. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi are included. One dog stays free.
The cottage opens onto an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, front and back. There is an unfenced pond in the garden. Parking is on the road. Shops, pubs and restaurants are about 200 yards away. The park itself—famous for hand-fed squirrels, maintained walking paths and an on-site cafe—is immediately accessible, making this suitable for anyone wanting easy exploration without driving. The North York Moors lie within 3 miles; Pickering with its castle and steam railway is also 3 miles; Scarborough's beaches and family attractions are 14 miles south. No smoking indoors.

We visited Peasholm Park for the Naval Warfare show. We took 3 children (13, 10, &9) who all really enjoyed the performance. The park was very clean and looks great. We would go again, it was a fun occasion at a reasonable price. The on site cafe provides nice food and drinks though next time to keep the costs down we probably would take a picnic. Not because of the prices (which are reasonable for getting food out), but because 5 mouths to feed is quite expensive.

Really enjoyable experience at Peasholme Park! No fee to enter, great for just a walk around the gardens, we also went on the dragon peddalow boats which was lovely! Definitely will visit again if I am near Scarborough. Great for families or groups or any size. Ice cream and refreshments available as well as toilets. Great to visit even if the weather isn't amazing, the main paths around the gardens aren't muddy.

There was not a lot of colour in the gardens but designed beautifully with a great variety of plants trees pagodas and winding paths and waterfalls. Local people were hand feeding the squirrels and birds so lots of entertainment for the children. There is a cafe and on a good day sit outside and admire the view. It was a lovely day out and well worth a visit.

We have visited Scarborough several times over the last few years and we loving coming to the park. It is a peaceful and spacious park with a lovely boating area in the middle. Plenty of seats to watch the world go by and the kids love it here too which is always a bonus!! A 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of paid parking nearby.
