Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom comes ready for use. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine are all there. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, and you'll find tea, coffee and biscuits waiting when you arrive. The single open-plan room downstairs holds the living and dining space, warmed by a wood burner for cooler evenings. Upstairs is a king-size bedroom with its own Freeview TV, and a walk-in shower room.

This one-bed cottage sleeps two and occupies its own corner of the grounds in Thornton-le-Dale, a village on the edge of the North York Moors. You get an enclosed garden with patio seating, parking for one car on site, and an electric charging point if needed. One dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead in the grounds. The property itself sits within 1.8 acres of natural land. Pickering is a mile away, with access to the famous steam railway; Whitby and the Yorkshire coast are within reach for a day out, while the Moors offer quieter walking routes and bridleways. Smoking is not permitted inside.
