Aysgarth Falls lie half a mile away, and several country pubs are within walking distance—Pen Hill View sits at the edge of this Wensleydale village as a practical base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Hawes and Leyburn are near enough for a larger choice of shops and restaurants when you want them. Footpaths start from the doorstep, and the enclosed garden has countryside views and furniture for sitting out.
The cottage holds five people across three bedrooms: two doubles and a single, with a bathroom upstairs and a separate toilet below. The ground floor has a living room with an open fire, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer. Electricity, bed linen, towels and coal for the fire are included. There is a cot and highchair available, a bike store, and space to park. One dog can stay free.
