Pine Lodge

Pine Lodge is a ground-floor property where you arrive into an open-plan living space with everything on one level. The sitting area has a smart TV and electric fire, with patio doors opening onto a decked veranda where the dining area sits. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and full-size fridge. Bedroom one has a double bed; bedroom two has two singles. There are two bathrooms: one ensuite with a bath and shower, the other a shower room. One dog can come with you, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The lodge sits on a small woodland site at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, part of a cluster of similar properties near the River Ure in Wensleydale. Masham, a proper market town with independent shops, restaurants, breweries and a cobbled square hosting weekly markets, is three miles away. Walking starts from your door into the surrounding countryside—there are medieval abbeys, castles and waterfalls within reach. Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Forbidden Corner, Fountains Abbey, and Ripon Cathedral are all within ten miles. Harrogate is twenty miles, York thirty-five. Parking for one car is on site, and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi—are included. No smoking indoors.
