Polly’s Fold

Grassington is a proper Dales village, its cobbled square lined with independent shops and old pubs, surrounded by walking country that starts immediately beyond the houses. Polly's Fold is a single-storey cottage tucked away in the quiet lanes just off this square, giving you the village on your doorstep but the peace of the countryside when you step outside.

The whole place is yours alone: a living room with TV and DVD player, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with bath and shower. There's a utility room with a washer-dryer. A patio and garden space overlooks the surrounding fields. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with Wi-Fi. You can park on site behind electric gates. One well-behaved dog stays free.

From the cottage, walking routes lead through the lanes and up into open moorland; the Dales Way runs nearby. Burnsall and Bolton Abbey, both with riverside paths and picnic spots, are close by. Skipton market town is fifteen minutes' drive away. The village itself hosts several cultural events through the year.
