Walk through Poppywinkle's front door into an open-plan ground floor where the living space, kitchen and dining area flow together. A wood-burning stove sits at one end; the kitchen occupies the other, fitted with what you need to cook properly—electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer—plus a breakfast bar where the group can gather. Doors lead straight to your private parking and a patio with seating. A separate toilet is tucked under the stairs; upstairs, a shower room serves the three bedrooms.

The bedrooms work well for different groups: one has a zip-and-link super-king that converts to twin beds, one has a king, one has bunks. Two have televisions. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; the kitchen is set up for self-catering, not just snacking. The house sits on a quiet side street a few hundred yards from Filey beach and Crescent Gardens—close enough for an easy walk with children, far enough to feel settled rather than surrounded. No smoking throughout. Private parking is for one car.
