Whitby's estuary runs past this riverside cottage, putting you within walking distance of the harbour and town while set back in a quieter spot. The property spreads across three floors: a kitchen and dining room on the ground floor with doors onto shared gardens that slope down to the water; a living room, bunk bedroom and bathroom on the first floor; and two double bedrooms with a second bathroom above. It sleeps six and comes with parking for one car on site.

The river brings activity year-round—herons, salmon and the ducks that patrol the gardens are regular sights. The steam train between Whitby and Grosmont passes nearby, visible from the property. A mile's walk takes you over the Larpool Viaduct into Whitby town centre. Pets stay free, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. No smoking throughout.
