The Dreaming Duck

The Dreaming Duck is a three-storey mews cottage sleeping up to five guests, with everything you need for self-catering already in place. The kitchen comes with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so you can cook properly or travel light. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The ground floor holds the dining room and kitchen alongside a separate toilet; the first floor has the living room with TV, Sky, DVD player and sound system, plus a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower; the second floor contains two further single bedrooms and another bathroom.

A balcony and patio overlook the River Esk, and there's parking for one car on site. The cottage sits near a sailing slipway if that matters to you. Walking distance brings you to Whitby's shops and pubs; restaurants are about a mile and a half away. The North Yorkshire Moors and coastal towns are within reach for day trips. No smoking inside the property.
