The Hornby is a single-bedroom camping cabin at Rose Acre Retreat near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. Everything you need for a break is built in: underfloor heating runs through the living space, kitchen and bedroom; the kitchen has an electric cooker, hob, combi microwave and fridge-freezer; the shower room is modern and compact. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, so you arrive to a ready-made base rather than a blank canvas.
The cabin is a one-storey open-plan layout with a double bed (4ft 6in), a sofa bed for a third guest, and enough kitchen and dining space to cook properly. A car parking space comes with it. The location is rural—a pub sits within a mile—and you're positioned to reach the North York Moors for walking or cycling. Northallerton town is nearby for shops and services. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing weekend away. The guest book has some fantastic suggestions for some local farm shops and cafés. The pods are small but well designed. If you're using the hot tub take some extra towels with you! The only reason I've not given this 5 stars is because the mattress should have been replaced about 5 years ago, it was exceptionally uncomfortable. Everything else was brilliant and I would return... if the bed was better

Absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is lovely, the pods are so cosy and warm and just so well equipped for such a small place! The hot tub just make it better. A nice welcome from Natalie. We will definitely be back. Mandy and mick

Booked a weekend for my wife's birthday. Absolutely beautiful place, spotlessly clean, everything you need is there, the quality and finish from outside to inside couldn't be better and the service and welcome from Natalie was second to none. We stayed an extra night and left early for work on the Monday and it was perfect. We will without doubt be back.

Absolutely lovely site! View is lovely too! Hosts were friendly and very helpful, they even leave a guest book with recommendations for local pubs too! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back again!
