Whitby's cobbled streets, abbey and harbour are within easy reach, as are Robin Hood's Bay and the Heritage Coast. The steam railway through the Esk Valley runs nearby. Less than a mile away, Beacon Farm Ice Cream, Campsite & Tearooms draws visitors year-round. A shop stands 100 yards from the door, and a pub serving food 150 yards further on.
Rose Cottage 2 is a stone-built terraced cottage in the quiet hamlet of Sneaton. Inside, a ground-floor open-plan space combines living and dining areas with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and an electric fire for warmth. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a bathroom with bath and shower. A welcome pack awaits arrival. The property includes wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels; a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a shared utility room. The cottage sleeps four and welcomes one small dog at no extra charge. No smoking indoors.
A private, lawned garden with seating and a barbecue (on request) opens from the cottage. There is parking for one car on site. The beach is three miles away. The property works well for families, and can be booked alongside Rose Cottage 1 if you need to sleep eight.
