Rose Cottage opens directly into a living room warmed by a woodburner, with a kitchen beyond that leads out to the garden. Upstairs, accessed by a narrow wooden staircase, are two bedrooms: one with a king bed and one with bunks. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The cottage sleeps four and comes as your own complete space.
The kitchen is equipped for cooking and includes a washer dryer. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. The enclosed garden with patio is accessible from the kitchen, though there is a step down. A permit for one car at the public car park 350 metres away is included. No smoking.
Skipton itself has a SPAR and a pub within a mile, making this a practical base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage does not suit families with children under five.
