Spoutscroft Cottage comes ready to use, with essentials covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial fuel for the open fire. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering – electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and separate utility room with fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. A shower room downstairs and full bathroom upstairs mean two guests can get ready at once.

The cottage itself has two bedrooms – one double, one with twin singles – and sleeps four. Downstairs, a living and dining room centres on an open fire. The property sits in Austwick village within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with a pub serving food a short walk away, a local shop and post office, and an award-winning restaurant within a mile. Outside, there's a cottage garden to the front with patio seating, and a rear sitting area with a BBQ (accessed via four steps) that looks out to open countryside. One dog stays free. The cottage does not permit smoking.
