Swallowdale is a detached stone bungalow arranged across one level, with a two-step entrance leading into a substantial living space. The ground floor holds two reception rooms—one with a TV, open fire and entertainment options, the other quieter with books and toys—plus a full kitchen with two electric ovens and a dishwasher, a games room, utility room and a separate shower room alongside the main bathroom. Four bedrooms sleep six: two kingsize and two single. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with fuel for the fire.
The bungalow sits in Upper Wensleydale within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by steep hills and fells. Shaw Gill Wood rises directly behind the property, with a series of waterfalls and bluebells in spring. The location puts walks on your doorstep—a 20-minute stroll reaches Hardraw Force, England's highest unbroken waterfall above ground, while the Pennine Way and Buttertubs Pass are nearby. A garden with patio, barbecue and seating overlooks the landscape, and there is parking on site including a garage. One dog stays free; smoking is not permitted inside.
