The Glass Loft
North Yorkshire
Low Row sits in Swaledale with the Punch Bowl Inn as a neighbour and Reeth's shops three miles away. The Glass Loft is a three-bedroom house sleeping six, built around a central fireplace and wood-burning stove in a double-aspect living space that looks south and west across the dale. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a range-style cooker, Belfast sink and a dining table that seats six.
Upstairs are three bedrooms: the master with a super-king bed and views across both aspects; a double with west-facing windows; and a twin with south views. Two bathrooms serve the bedrooms—one with a roll-top bath and a separate shower room with a large walk-in enclosure. A utility room with washer and dryer handles the practicalities. Outside, a front patio has a chimenea and seating; a side patio holds a Weber kettle barbecue and extra dining furniture. Steps lead down to a lawned garden with fruit trees and a small stream with waterfall. Parking for two cars is private and off-street.
Walking starts at the door; the bus to Richmond and Keld runs several times daily along the dale. A fish-and-chip van stops opposite on Friday evenings. The property is no-smoking throughout. Children under eight cannot be accommodated; enquire if you have an infant under twelve months.
