Filey sits on the North Yorkshire coast where a protective ridge of rocks shelters miles of sand to the south and chalk cliffs rise beyond. From The Landings - Apartment 10, the beach is a minute's walk away. Inland, the Wolds and North York Moors offer everything from gentle village trails to serious long-distance walks along the Cleveland Way and Wolds Way. The paddling pool is nearby for younger visitors, and pubs and shops sit within 200 yards.
The apartment occupies the third floor with an open-plan living space that combines sitting area, dining space and kitchen in one room. There is a double bedroom (4ft 6in bed) and a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. You have the whole property to yourself, plus access to shared outdoor seating and on-road parking.
The apartment sleeps three and welcomes one pet free of charge. There is no lift to the third floor. Smoking is not permitted. Beyond Filey, Whitby, Bridlington and Scarborough are all within reach by car, as are Castle Howard and other historic houses. The North York Moors steam train runs through the Esk Valley 18 miles south.

1st Visit to Filey and a beautiful impression made. Arrived to a welcome basket which was the cutest. Really easy to follow welcome back made it easy to warm up the flat. The shower was amazing. Already spoke about coming back. We visited the tearoom owned by the owners who also offer discount however we didn't use the offer as prices we're already reasonable. Really memorable stay highly recommend

We stayed in flat 10. It was amazing. A lovely space and fabulous location and views. The mattress was very hard, that's my only complaint. A great, cosy getaway with the dog. Wonderful beach outside the door. Lots of lovely shops, bars and cafes to walk to.

It was a clean place right by the sea and perfect for a young family. ( 2 adults and 2 children a 3 and a 5 year old. You can go to the beach and a paddling pool. There are a few things for children to do and see like going to the amusement park, or further away there's a rock pool. The accommodation itself was clean I would recommend to take your own toys or what have you to entertain your children but there's a smart TV too. Parking is limited during the summer but other than that suitable for families. The sink had a blockage but got sorted straight away.
