The Landings is a first-floor apartment that opens directly onto the North Yorkshire coast. Sitting just a short walk from Filey's 5-mile stretch of sand, it gives you immediate access to the beach and the coastal paths that lead towards Filey Brigg and beyond. The flat itself is straightforward: an open-plan living space with two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles) and a bathroom, arranged across one level with three steps to the entrance.
The layout includes a fully functional kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can prepare meals as easily as order in from one of the local pubs within walking distance. Two TVs, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided; there is also a shared laundry room if you need it. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The flat suits couples and families with younger children looking for a seaside base without complications.
Filey itself is quieter than its busier neighbours along the coast, making it a genuine starting point for walking rather than a destination in itself. From here, the North York Moors, the Wolds, the historic cities of York and Hull, and the coastal villages of Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington are all within reach by car. The Paddling Pool sits nearby for younger visitors.

1st Visit to Filey and a beautiful impression made. Arrived to a welcome basket which was the cutest. Really easy to follow welcome back made it easy to warm up the flat. The shower was amazing. Already spoke about coming back. We visited the tearoom owned by the owners who also offer discount however we didn't use the offer as prices we're already reasonable. Really memorable stay highly recommend

We stayed in flat 10. It was amazing. A lovely space and fabulous location and views. The mattress was very hard, that's my only complaint. A great, cosy getaway with the dog. Wonderful beach outside the door. Lots of lovely shops, bars and cafes to walk to.

It was a clean place right by the sea and perfect for a young family. ( 2 adults and 2 children a 3 and a 5 year old. You can go to the beach and a paddling pool. There are a few things for children to do and see like going to the amusement park, or further away there's a rock pool. The accommodation itself was clean I would recommend to take your own toys or what have you to entertain your children but there's a smart TV too. Parking is limited during the summer but other than that suitable for families. The sink had a blockage but got sorted straight away.
