The Landings - Apartment 5 is a second-floor flat that opens directly into a combined living space where the kitchen, dining area and lounge flow together. Two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower complete the layout, all on one level. A freeview television in each bedroom means there's flexibility for different routines; the lounge has a DVD player as well. The kitchen is properly equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave for self-catering. Essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included.
Filey's beach stretches for five miles and lies just 50 yards away, backed by the low ridge of Filey Brigg. To the south, the sands end at Bempton's chalk cliffs. From here, you can reach Runswick Bay without travelling far, and the North Yorkshire Wolds are accessible for inland walking. The property is near a pub within a mile, and a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is available. Parking is on road; a travel cot and highchair can be requested. No smoking is permitted in the flat.
The surrounding coast and countryside opens up into bigger day trips—Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington and Robin Hoods Bay are all within reach, as are the North York Moors steam train, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes Hall. The Cleveland Way and Wolds Way offer long-distance walking routes from the area.

1st Visit to Filey and a beautiful impression made. Arrived to a welcome basket which was the cutest. Really easy to follow welcome back made it easy to warm up the flat. The shower was amazing. Already spoke about coming back. We visited the tearoom owned by the owners who also offer discount however we didn't use the offer as prices we're already reasonable. Really memorable stay highly recommend

We stayed in flat 10. It was amazing. A lovely space and fabulous location and views. The mattress was very hard, that's my only complaint. A great, cosy getaway with the dog. Wonderful beach outside the door. Lots of lovely shops, bars and cafes to walk to.

It was a clean place right by the sea and perfect for a young family. ( 2 adults and 2 children a 3 and a 5 year old. You can go to the beach and a paddling pool. There are a few things for children to do and see like going to the amusement park, or further away there's a rock pool. The accommodation itself was clean I would recommend to take your own toys or what have you to entertain your children but there's a smart TV too. Parking is limited during the summer but other than that suitable for families. The sink had a blockage but got sorted straight away.
