The Old Dairy View

The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen and living space where large windows catch the harbour light; upstairs are two double bedrooms, and on the top floor a further double in a loft room with sloping ceilings. There is one bathroom. The loft room suits adults rather than children, given its restricted headroom.

A pub sits within a mile, and the beach and harbour are on the doorstep. Whitby Abbey, the 199 steps up to it, the independent shops and fish and chip restaurants that line the steep streets—all are a short walk away. The cottage was recently renovated at the end of 2024, with a new kitchen and living room, though its older character remains. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided.
